पेट का रिश्ता 

रोटी से है

पेट को चाहिए रोटी

चाहे छोटी हो या मोटी

असली हो या खोटी

पेट को चाहिए रोटी

रोटी के लिए चाहिए

...रुपया-पैसा!

चोरी से या सीनाजोरी से

जेब से या तिजोरी से

ईमानदारी से या बईमानी से

भीख से या शैतानी से 

चाहे रूप बदलना पड़े जैसा..

रोटी के लिए चाहिए 

..रुपया-पैसा !

और, 
रुपया-पैसा

शोषकों के हाथों की रखैल है

जिसने 

बिगाड़ दिया है इंसानों का चरित्र

और-
 शोषकों की बदचलनी, बेईमानी को

लिख दिया है 

इंसानियत के बही खाते में.

The stomach

Is related to bread.

The stomach needs bread

Either small or spread

Through money earned genuinely 
Or falsely made

The stomach needs bread

For breads 

Money is required 

Somehow or the  other
Earned as a thief or a robber
Being an honest or devilish one

Through means, good or improper

Playing any role they said

The stomach needs bread

And, 
the money and wealth

Are just the concubines of the exploiters

Who 
Have spoiled the character of human beings

And-
have entered 
Dissoluteness, dishonesty 

In the books of Honesty.
