A piece of art is not
just the expression of internal mind of the artist, it is in fact much more
than it. All the impressions of the surrounding environment whether social,
political or religious do get reflected through the same in a sythesised form.
The elements of these environments are so intertwined that you can't remain
puritan of a single cause. Your spirit moves on several paths at a time but the
destination is only one and that is to bring goodness to the world to the
extent possible.
The
beauty of immersive love gets religious form in Nishi Singh's pictures. Ranjit
Krishna reveals the causes of dynamism of this animate world. Ramu Kumar seems
to show you a man walking with his broken dreams in one of his sculpture while
playing with little son in a cosy corner in another.
Dinesh Kumar has adopted religious
myths to convey his idea while Sunil Kumar's superbly smooth human forms are of
a different genre. Sudhir Pandit has presented his masterpieces on Buddha
motif.
The specialty of this exhibition was religious thoughts without
a tinge of fanaticism. The subjects of Hinduism, Sufism, Buddhism and
Christanity all got proper respect in the contents of the artists.
'Sanyam' must get applauded for this meaningful exhibition of art pieces.
